The Pecém Industrial And Port Complex Development Company - Cipp S/A Intends To Carry Out The Initial Selection Of Candidates For The Contract Expansion Of The Multi-Utility Terminal Tmut Of The Port Of Pecém - New Berth. This Contract Covers The Construction Of A New Berth At Tmut Berth No. 11 To Meet The Increase In Port Activities And Support The Green Hydrogen Value Chain In The Industrial Complex. It Also Aims To Meet The Natural Increase In Cargo Movement At The Port Of Pecém, Mainly Due To The Completion Of The Transnordestina Railway, Which Should Be Connected To Pecém By 2028. In The Short Term, From 2026 To 2028, The Average Cargo Movement Is Expected To Increase By Almost 10%, Due To The Increase In Cargo For The Green Hydrogen Production Value Chain, Such As The Need To Import Electrolyzers And Solar And Wind Equipment For Renewable Production.
