The National Botanical Garden “Dr. Rafael María Moscoso” is an institution with administrative and management autonomy, attached to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARENA), which is responsible for maintaining active scientific research aimed at the conservation and management of Dominican flora; promoting environmental education and encouraging recreation.

Vision: To be a reference institution in terms of public policies aimed at youth, promoting their integration in social development processes and their socioeconomic, political and cultural spheres, in accordance with the General Youth Law 49-00.

Organize and govern the national system of technical-professional training which, with the joint effort of the State, workers and employers, focuses on the full development of human resources and the increase in the productivity of companies in all sectors of economic activity. Promote the social advancement of workers through comprehensive training to make them responsible citizens, possessors of the moral and cultural values ​​necessary for national harmony and coexistence.
