| Description: | Aqaba New Port Project Marine Services Harbor – Slipway Equipment Furnishing and Preparation Release of Request for Proposal for Design and Tender Document preparation Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) is the central development corporation for the Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZ). The ports development is one of Jordan's national infrastructure priorities and will constitute a major element of the country's long-term economic growth, as it is part of its sole maritime gateway and a key component of ASEZ's emerging positioning as a leading multi-modal logistical trade gateway for the Levant region on the Red Sea. The Aqaba New Port Project is a high priority project and will be used for handling general cargo, Ro-Ro and grain. ADC is currently in process of preparing and furnishing the Marine Service Harbour slip way for the recovery of smaller vessel types, and the installation of required safety breaking system, cradles, winches and such. Therefore, ADC is seeking to employ a joint venture consisting of a specialized international consultancy firm in Marine design preferably slipway design and a first grade local engineering consultancy firm. The employed consultant/s will be responsible for preparation of the design and tender documents for "Aqaba New Port Marine Service Harbor Slipway Modification" noting that the full details of joint venture scope of work is thoroughly described in the Request for Proposal (RFP) Documents. ADC hereby requests interested firms to express their interest by submitting a request to receive the EOI form to copying ; and .
