| Description: | Consultancy Services related to Aqaba Ports Master Plan Update Release of Request for Proposal Expression of Interest Aqaba Development Corporation (ADC) is the central development corporation for the Aqaba Special Economic Zone (ASEZ). The ports development is one of Jordan's national infrastructure priorities and will constitute a major element of the country's long-term economic growth, as it is part of its sole maritime gateway and a key component of ASEZ's emerging positioning as a leading multi-modal logistical trade gateway for the Levant region on the Red Sea. Aqaba Development Corporation had implemented a number of ports development and construction projects identified in previously prepared ports master plans. ADC continuously update the ports master plan whenever deemed necessary to ensure that the ports capabilities and capacities meets the kingdom’s requirements in addition for coping with economical conditions and variables. Currently ADC is looking for updating the Ports Master plan in addition for a number of specialized assessments and studies. ADC is seeking to employ a joint venture consisting of an international consultancy firm specialized in Port Master Plan development and trade and traffic forecast jointly with a local consultancy firm classified as first grade at the Government Tendering Department. The employed consultant/s will be responsible for executing the tasks identified in the SOW related to updating the Ports Master plan in addition for a number of specialized assessments and studies noting that the full details of joint venture scope of work is thoroughly described in the Request for Proposal (RFP) Document.
