| Description: | Invitation for Bids (IFB) Republic of Tajikistan Project Ref. # AFG-TAJ-AKDN-BDK- 020 Survey and design works for construction of 10kV and 35kV transmission line and construction of 35/0.4kV and 10/0.4kV distribution networks in the targeted villages under Phases I and II of Shugnan VI Energy Cross Border project in Shugnan Vulusvoli of Afghanistan IFB No: PE-AKF-PATRIP- Shugnan VI – Service 04/2019 The newly established Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan Regional Integration Program (PATRIP) allocated a grant for the Aga Khan Foundation United Kingdom for the "Shugnan VI (phase I)" cross border energy project. Consequently, within the project, in order to improve the access to energy services in Shugnan Vulusvoli of Badakhshan Province of Afghanistan, Pamir Energy Company announces a tender for undertaking Survey and design works for construction of 10kV and 35kV transmission line and construction of 35/0.4kV and 10/0.4kV distribution networks in the targeted villages under Phases I and II of Shugnan VI Energy Cross Border project in Shugnan Vulusvoli of Afghanistan. 1. Pamir Energy Company has received a grant from the German Federal Foreign Office through the Aga Khan Foundation (United Kingdom) (AKF(UK)) under the Pakistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan Regional Integration Program (PATRIP). 2. Pamir Energy Company now invites sealed bids from qualified bidders for undertaking Survey and design works for construction of 10kV and 35kV transmission lines and construction of 35/0.4kV and 10/0.4kV distribution networks in the targeted villages (21 villages) under Phases I and II of Shugnan VI Energy Cross Border project in Shugnan Vulusvoli of Afghanistan. 3. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures in accordance with the procurement policies of the PATRIP Foundation, Germany, and is open to all bidders. 4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from Pamir Energy Company, Regional Projects Implementation Unit, and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below and Pamir Energy can also provide the documents electronically, if required, from July 26 th , 2019 between 9-00 to 17-00 hours, Dushanbe time. 5. Bid documents can be obtained from Pamir Energy Company in English language (technical specifications are also available in Russian) by interested bidders upon submission of request to the below mention address. 6. Sealed bids must be delivered to the addresses below in English, Russian or Tajik languages at or before August 20 th , 2019 at 14.00 hours Dushanbe time. Electronic bids can be submitted by the International bidder following the instructions on the tender documents. Late bids will be rejected.
