Number: 60-HRD/2021/ 229 Date: 11.10.2021 INVITATION FOR TENDER SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF 25,000 METRIC TON PARBOILED RICE. Tenderers are hereby invited by State Trading Organization Plc. of the Republic of Maldives, for Supply and Delivery of 25,000 Metric Ton Parboiled Rice. 1. General Description Title: Supply and Delivery of 25,000 Metric Ton Parboiled Rice. Organization of execution: State Trading Organization Plc. of the Republic of Maldives The Product to be tendered: Parboiled Rice, manufactured in any country. Delivery: Delivery shall be made in separate shipments. Each shipment shall be in accordance with a schedule set by the Purchaser. 2. Eligible Tenderers are limited to; 2.1 Established Mills or their appointed distributors. 2.2 Parties that have successfully supplied at least 15,000 metric ton Parboiled Rice to the International Market in the past 03 years. Only the parties who meet the eligibility criteria stated in 2.1 and 2.2 shall be registered under this tender. 3. Tendering Process. Registration and Bid Document: Tenderers can register via email, tenders@sto.mv along with the documents required to verify eligibility. Documents required for registration: - Established mills or their appointed distributor letter/certificate - BL Copies or any other document that proves successful supply of at least 15,000 metric ton Parboiled Rice to the International market in the past 03 years. Deadline for Registration is 18th October 2021, 1600hrs. A complete set of Bidding Document in English shall be sent via e-mail on the 19th of October 2021, only to the parties who have successfully registered under the tender. Questions and Replies: Questions shall be type-written in English and shall be sent via email to the address specified below. Deadline for queries is 22nd October 2021, 1600hrs. Replies to questions will be given on 24th October 2021. Tender Submission Documents should be mailed to tenders@sto.mv (NOT LATER than on 28th October 2021, 1600hrs.)
