The development of the project for the Formulation of the Institutional Strategic Plan 2021 - 2024, has been prepared under the motto "Let's Change Together" with the purpose of integrating the participation of all the staff of the institution, as well as the interest groups linked to the SIAFE processes, to achieve an organizational transformation oriented to the achievement of the institutional mission and objectives, which was carried out through multidisciplinary meetings that promote teamwork for the definition of objectives and indicators that will define the operational trend of the institution.

Promote timely decision-making by public and private actors through the production and dissemination of official statistics required by the national agenda. Establish mechanisms for coordination and inter-institutional articulation of statistical production through plans and strategies, formal sectoral and institutional commitments. Ensure the quality of institutional performance through the implementation of a comprehensive and efficient organizational management model.
Ensure the provision of drinking water services, with criteria of quantity, quality and efficiency.-Progressively increase the coverage of drinking water supply, sanitary sewerage and wastewater treatment services.-Achieve the economic and financial sustainability of the institution.-Improve macroprocesses and processes within and outside the institution, as well as the technological platform.-Promote and guarantee education and community participation as a way of raising awareness among the population about the use and importance of water and sanitary sewerage.
