Description - Description: One of the fields of expertise of the Quebec Public Health Laboratory (LSPQ) is the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases transmitted by ticks, including Lyme disease (ML). The LSPQ sits on the "Lyme Disease Diagnostic Working Group" (LDD WG) of the Public Health Laboratories Network of Canada (RLSPC). The LDDWG issues Canadian recommendations in connection with the optimal use of tests for ML serodiagnosis and helps the provinces in the validation / evaluation of available commercial kits.
