Description - The County of Frontenac is looking to implement a Community Planning Permit System (CPPS)land use planning tool that municipalities can use to streamline the planning approval process and help to support local priorities, such as the protection and e nhancement of waterfront areas. To implement a CPPS, each municipality must adopt an Official Plan Amendment for the CPPS area and pass a Community Planning Permit By-Law (CPP By-Law).The County of Frontenac requires a qualified consultant to undertake the necessary background work and put together a general CPP by-law template that can be tailored and implemented in all waterfront areas of each Township.
