Description - Description: The Town of Amherstburg is located in Southwestern Ontario, approximately 30 kilometers southwest of the City of Windsor and is one of seven lower‐tier municipalities in the County of Essex. The current population of The Town of Amhers tburg is just over 23,500.The Town of Amherstburg wishes to replace of approximately 500 residential water meters either inside the house or inside in an external meter pit. The majority of the meters are 16mm (5/8”) x 19mm (3/4”), although there may be some 19mm (3/4”) or 25mm (1”) size meters.
