Description - Description: The Ruhr Metropolis has won the competition for the International Garden Exhibition (IGA) for 2027 under the key question: "How do we want to live tomorrow?". As part of this measure, the cultural harbor in Duisburg is to be redesigned, among other things. The harbor basin will be shortened by means of a new harbor wall construction made of prefabricated reinforced concrete elements with backfilling parallel to the course of the Dickelsbach Canal. The Dickelsbach Canal and the outlet structure will not be structurally changed. After the developed harbor area has been filled, the surface, rising from the water area towards the Wanheimer Strasse bridge, will be landscaped in Lot 2
