Description - Description: BRIEF DESCRIPTIONIn the feasibility study for fast cycle routes for the greater Nuremberg area from 2017, a route for a fast cycle route between Erlangen and Fürth was already examined. It leads from Fürth main station through the city center to the city theater and from there over the Karlsteg into the Pegnitz/Regnitz valley to the north in the direction of Erlangen. Another study examined a cycle path connection from Bamberg to Nuremberg via Erlangen - Fürth along the Main-Danube Canal.According to the forecast in the feasibility study (2017), up to 5,000 cyclists are expected for the ER-FÜ fast cycle route.Based on both studies, all four variants of cycle traffic routing
