Description - Description: The purpose of this Section of the Request for Proposal (RFP) is to familiarize prospective proposers with Augusta, Georgia (County), its current mandatory waste collection services being offered by the County. The County waste collectio n service area (service area) is roughly 308 square miles. The Services presently divided in three zones (Zones 1, 2 & 3) served by two primary waste haulers. Each primary waste hauler utilizing one local small business hauler services as required by the contract condition of local small business opportunity program (LSBOP) 25% participation.
