Description - Description: This basic maintenance contract concerns the regular maintenance of the Ramspol Storm Surge Barrier (SVKR). The SVKR is an inflatable bellows dam that closes off the Zwarte Meer from the Ketelmeer during high water and thus guarantees th e safety of the hinterland. The SVKR consists of three bellows, each approximately 80 metres long, 11 metres wide and 13 metres high. There is a maintenance season and a storm season. The regular maintenance consists of the disciplines; E, WTB, Civil and IA (not being Decision & Control systems). The maintenance is prescribed in work instructions.
