Description - Description: The project result is a partly renovated and partly replaced Van Brienenoord Bridge that will once again meet the intended functions for the next 100 years. This is achieved by: • CE marking for the movable part of the bridge. This is achieved by: o In the eastern bridge: newly constructed falls, installations, moving parts and large-scale civil modifications to pillars and basement; o In the western bridge: replacing parts for CE marking; o For the entire bridge: new control, operation and monitoring. • A newly constructed western arch bridge; • A renovated western arch bridge as a replacement for the current eastern arch bridge.
