Description - Description: The California Department of Conservation (Department or DOC) requires the services of a business with the resources, experience, and abilities to remediate physical safety hazards associated with seven abandoned mine features in Onyx Ra nch State Vehicular Recreation Area in Kern County. Please note this is a Public Works Invitation for Bid.It is anticipated that this pre-bid walkthrough will last at least six hours ¿ all seven tasks will be visited in the field. Access to the mine sites and features is over uneven, steep terrain that requires a high-clearance, four-wheel drive vehicle and some moderate hiking.
