Description - Description The Board strives to provide a meal program that improves nutrition in a respectful manner to our most vulnerable students. Scientific research provides compelling evidence that poor nutrition negatively impacts behavior, school performan ce and cognitive development in children. Research also shows that well-fed children show less irritability, improved attention span, better memory and achieve higher test scores.
