Description - Description: The municipalities of Leiden, Leiderdorp, Zoeterwoude and Oegstgeest work closely together in the field of sewerage and water management. In 2019, the four municipalities, together with Hoogheemraadschap Rijnland and Dunea, drew up a cen tral policy plan (vGRP), the so-called Integrated Waste Water Chain Plan (IAWKP). Part of the IAWKP is sharing knowledge, general harmonisation and joint tendering. The current joint maintenance contract for cleaning the pumping stations expires at the beginning of 2024.
