Description - Description A1. Project InformationIn 2021, the County purchased a +/-75 Acre parcel in Springbank located at SW 27-24-3 W5M. The land was purchased with the intent to develop the property for recreational uses. In December 2022, a Business Case was prepared on behalf of the County and an Events Centre was identified as a need for the community.This RFP is to conduct technical studies to develop a site plan for a future Events Centre. In addition, to prepare a construction cost estimate (15-20%) for site works and servicing outside of the building envelope. This information will be used to support a funding request for Phase 2 detailed design and construction of the Events Centre.An excerpt
