Description - Description: The municipality of Böheimkirchen was flooded over a large area due to the heavy rainfall event from September 14th to 16th, 2024 and the subsequent overflow of the Michelbach, Perschling and Totzenbach rivers as well as renamed ditches . Furthermore, the route of the sewer system of the Perschlingtal wastewater association, which runs mostly along the rivers, was affected by flooding. A large amount of cohesive and non-cohesive material was introduced into the sewer system of the market town of Böheimkirchen and the Perschlingtal wastewater association. Parts of the sewer system were flooded. For this reason, extensive sewer cleaning, shaft and pipe inspections are necessary.l
