Description - Description: The Department of Geosciences at Stockholm University (IGV) is seeking to buy an Acoustic Doppler Velocimeter (ADV) for aquatic eddy covariance measurements. IGV is conducting regular measurement campaigns in the Baltic Sea to understand geochemical processes in the water column and sediment. One current focus is to study the benthic boundary layer, i.e. the turbulent water layer just above the sediment, which is a critical transition zone regulating the exchange of nutrients, particles and gases between the sediment and overlying water.
