Description - Description: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit unsealed proposals from qualified firms to develop an adaptive Community Forest Management Plan (“CFMP”) for Commonwealth of Virginia (“the State”) on behalf of the Tow n of Marion that will foster a sustainable community forest that can tolerate increased pressures from pests, disease, invasive plants, climate change and development. The community forest in these communities are recognized as an asset for the community. However, with the emerald ash borer infestation many tree-related activities are reactive in nature and lack comprehensive information on the community forest resource and management tools neede
