Description - Description: Description: As announced during AUSA 2023, the U.S. Army has a new human-machine integrated formations (HMI-F) initiative. “These integrated formations will bring robotic systems into units alongside humans, with the goal of always ha ving robots, not soldiers, make first contact with the enemy.” ~Secretary of the Army Christine Wormuth  GEN James Rainey has mobilized the U.S. Army Futures Command (AFC) under a unified goal of accelerated delivery on HMI-F.
