Description - Description: This project requires a survey of Pigeon Lake Creek. An analysis of the current Creek channel capacity. A comparison of the current capacity to design capacity and recommendations and cost estimates of returning the Creek to design capac ity for specified sections. Background Pigeon Lake Creek runs out of Pigeon Lake in central Alberta and is situated about 40 km Northwest of Wetaskawin (Figure 1). The channel was constructed to handle a 1:2 year flood plus a mean monthly lake outflow of 0.7 m3/s (Alberta Environment 1992).
