Description - Description: The current compressors and associated equipment within Harwich buoy yard are now approximately 17 years old and are no longer supportable from the original equipment manufacturers. This increases risk and costs to the business and there fore it is recommended that some or all of the equipment be replaced.The compressors and equipment are necessary to generate quality pressurised air for all core activities including paint spraying, shot blasting, and without a reliable source of compressed air these activities will not function and therefore buoy refurbishment cannot be undertaken.The current system comprises of one variable speed drive (VSD) compressor and one fixed speed, the
