Description - The Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) for the administration of the low-income residential customer rate reduction programs for electric and telephone services in Texas. (The contractor is referred to throughout this RFP as the Low-Income Discount Administrator, or “LIDA.” ) The term of the resulting contract will be a two-year contract with (2) two-year extensions. The LIDA will be responsible for all duties associated with creating and maintaining a database of customers eligible for Texas electric and telephone matching programs, which includes coordination and cooperation with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS).
