Description - Description: The assignment includes a comprehensive analysis of shore current use and the long-term potential for battery electrification of ships, with assessments of associated infrastructure needs. The purpose is, among other things, to study pow er requirements in ports, to obtain data for current shore power consumption in Norway and to establish and analyze scenarios for the possible spread of battery-electric propulsion within maritime transport. The analysis must cover all vessel categories in Norwegian waters, and be specific on energy needs and electrification potential for these. Results must be presented in such a format that the data can be processed further for analysis purpose
