Description - Description: The Kajaani Water Company has a total of 47 wastewater pumping stations, 28 of which are located near the Kajaani agglomeration, 9 of the Vuolijoki and Otanmäki agglomerationsIn the area and 10 in the transfer sewer between Otanmäki an d Kajaani. During the annual maintenance, a total of about 35-40 wastewater pumping stations will be maintained from these pumping stations, which will take about 2-3 weeks. Pump maintenance is performed between May and October. The service includes one operator responsible for the control of the wastewater pumping stations, who acts as a contact person for a maintenance company from the control room of the wastewater treatment plant.
