Description - Description: The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has awarded a contract to Kratos Microwave, Inc., San Jose, CA, for acquisition of equipment for down converter modules to support the Airport Surface Detection Equipment (ASDE-3) radar system. T he ASDE-3 system provides critical surface surveillance capability to major airports across the NAS.
