Description - Description: At the Munster Nord Bundeswehr military training area, there are forest areas managed by the Federal Forest Service that are contaminated with chemical warfare agents due to historical military use. In the topsoil and below the surface o f the earth, there are residues of these weapons (e.g. arsenic, etc.), as well as containers with highly toxic substances that are still active and unexploded ammunition. Mechanical wood harvesting is to be carried out in the Große Heide forest district of the Munster Nord training area in order to minimize the fire protection risk in these areas. The areas are partially contaminated with weapons that can pose a danger to people and their health
