Description - Description: The EAST wing was built in 1950 and is part of the Zurich Cantonal Monument Preservation Office's inventory of buildings worthy of protection. It was last extensively renovated between 2011 and 2014. Floor A houses examination rooms for our heart center and, like the floors B, C, D and E above it, is to be converted into a normal care ward. The main project perimeter includes floor A; for the building technology, conversions are also necessary on floors V/U/G of the EAST wing. Floor A has been cleared and shut down; access is via the hospital park.
