Description - Description: THIS IS A SOLICITATION. The Army has a requirement for ballistic and non-ballistic testing of personal protective equipment that provides protection against a broad range of ballistic threats. Ballistic threats include handgun and rifle ammunition, right circular cylinders, and fragment simulating projectiles; testing is conducted over a range of environmental conditions. Testing to be performed is part of the ongoing personal protective equipment program, which includes various configurations of test items. This is a non-personal services contract to perform personal protective equipment ballistic and non-ballistic testing that protects the Soldier against a variety of threats.
