Description - Description: The A9 Siders Ost - Leuk/Susten Ost in the canton of Valais comprises an 8.5 km long section that crosses the protected Pfynwald. In order to minimize the environmental pollution, over 75 % of this route runs underground.In the affected section, the existing natural gas pipeline of Swissgas AG runs from the Siders East roundabout to the Pfyngut today along the Kantonsstrasse. The majority of today's route lies within the project perimeter of the covered cut.In order for the A9 project to be realized, the existing natural gas line Rhoneetal (ELR), route 70, must be laid with a maximum operating pressure (MOP) of 70 bar of the SwissGas over a length of 3.5 km.In the present order,
