Description - Description: Following the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19), the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) expressed the wish in October 2020 to intensify the sampling of all sewage treatment plants (WWTPs) to a daily rhythm. I n the interest of public health, a sampling program has been set up so that RIVM can analyze the samples for the presence of SARS-CoV-2. This work is carried out at WWTPs of the contracting authority, but is funded by RIVM. Sampling must take place in accordance with the most recent version of NEN 6600-1 and the sampling protocol of RIVM (Appendix 7).The contracting authority currently has an agreement for the sampling ofinfluent for the presence
