Description - Description: FIOH analyzes respirable quartz and other respirable crystalline silicas from 25 mm silver membranes prepared from workplace samples by an indirect method and measured according to ISO 16258-2/NIOSH 7500. The lowest concentration that ne eds to be quantitatively analyzed (LOQ) is 5 ug/sample. At this concentration, as required by the NIOSH method, we would prefer that three of the main quantitative peaks for quarts (26,7°, 20,9° and 50,2°) and cristobalite (21,9°, 36,1° and 31,5°) would be discernible from the background.
