Description - Description: In the budget announcement on 23 May 2023, the Victorian Government committed to a $25 million investment to acquire land and build a Sunbury Campus, to be operated by Bendigo Kangan Institute. The estimated completion date is quarter fo ur 2027, to allow classes to commence in 2028. The Sunbury campus is seeking to address a skills training shortage in the Hume LGA, and Victoria more broadly. Sunbury is the fastest growing region within Hume and it is forecasted to grow to a city of more than 100,000 people by 2041 which will increase the demand for skilled workers.
