Description - Description: 1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS The purpose of this contract is to remove trees and grind stumps on the East side of Berlin Dam. All trees shall be cut and removed from project lands within the designated clearing area. All stumps shall be groun d to 8” below grade. Designated clearing area is described in the Site Map at the end of this Performance Work Statement. All work shall be conducted in strict accordance with the following standards of practice: ANSI Z133.1 – Tree Care Safety Standard 29 CFR 1910.266 – Logging Operations 29 CFR 1910.269 – Electrical Power Generation, Transmission and Distribution USACE EM 385-1-1 Section 31 Tree Maintenance and Removal 2.
