Description - Description: North Somerset Council require a contractor to deliver refurbishment and new development works to heritage buildings at the mainland end of Birnbeck Pier in Weston Super Mare.It is intended for the Birnbeck 2A Landward Works to commence in early February 2025.The works in scope are as follows:Landward Enabling Works:- Site setup to include provision of welfare, temporary service connections, renewal of hoarding and site boundary fencing installation.- Site wide clearance and salvage, protect and record including removal and storage of the Historic Gate Line.- Repair/reinstatement of sea wall including steel beam replacement.External Repairs:- Pier View repairs and refurbishment.
