Description - Description: Since 2000, the Ministry of Taxation has published reports and analyzes on cross-border trade, where, among other things, estimates have been made of the development of Danes' cross-border trade abroad. There is a particular focus on cro ss-border trade in goods subject to excise duty, including alcohol, tobacco and chocolate, as these product groups are important for the state's tax revenue. Estimated for e.g. quantity, price and value of the Danes' cross-border trade in various goods are included as prerequisites in connection with assessments of the socio-economic and income-related consequences of changes to the taxes on various pleasure goods and food.
