Description - Description: Summary Details:The District of Summerland (the “District”) is accepting Expressions of Interest from parties who are interested in purchasing bulk quantities of composted soil amendment.The District has produced the soil amendment b y composting yard waste, green wood chips and wastewater treatment sludge. All testing meets the requirements to be sold as compost under the Organic Matter Recycling Regulation except for the required C:N ratio. The soil amendment produced has been found to be higher in nitrogen than required for sale as a compost.
