Description - Description: The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCAD LKE) intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a contract, on a limited competition basis between Essex Electro Engineers Inc. (CAGE: 21269) and its authorized distribut ors, for the procurement of spare items in support of the KC-130 Ground Power Unit. Extensive market research was conducted to identify potential suppliers of required support equipment. The findings confirmed that the Government does not own the associated technical data package, that Essex is the Original Equipment Manufacturer and that it, and its authorized distributors, are the only vendors capable of meeting the Government's requirements.
