Description - Description: The Regional Municipality of Waterloo (the “Region”) seeks to engage the services of a consulting firm (the “Consultant”) to review and update to our Long Term Waste Management Strategy (LTWMS). In 2013, a Waste Management Master Plan (2013 WMMP) was approved by Regional Council that established a long-term strategic direction for sustainable waste management options. The Region updates the WMMP on a five-year cycle and the last review was completed in 2021. Many of the recommendations in the 2013 WMMP have been completed, or are in-progress.
