Description - Description: Law No. 2018-727 of August 10, 2018 for a State at the service of a trusting society allows the State to carry out the initial state of the environment of the areas defined during the authorization of an offshore wind farm project, as de fined by Article R122-5 of the Environmental Code. The studies allowing the characterization of the initial state of the environment are carried out once the project areas have been selected by the Minister responsible for energy. The studies aim as much as possible to communicate to the candidates of the competitive tendering procedures for offshore wind farm projects information allowing them to best define their offers in terms of biodiversity
