Description - Description: The London Borough of Waltham Forest is seeking a conservation-led contractor to assist the Council with undertaking essential repair works and an electrical upgrade to the Grade II* Listed Chestnuts House in Walthamstow E17.Chestnuts Ho use is a Grade II* listed mansion built on the edge of the village of Walthamstow in approximately 1745. The building is owned by the Council and is regarded as one of the best surviving and least altered examples of Georgian domestic architecture in Waltham Forest.
