Dear Sir,
Online E- tenders are invited for the work as described in the enclosed BOQ. The bids can be filled in
through (n) procure website: https:// www.nprocure.com period from 22-05-2023 to 12-06-2023.
Tender Fee & EMD Rs. 1500/+ 18% GST- (i.e. Rs 1770/-) & 38000/- respectively in the form of Demand
draft of Nationalized Bank/scheduled bank to be drawn in favour of Gujarat Council of Science City, payable
at Ahmedabad.
The sealed cover of physical documents shall be super scribed: “Cleaning of existing percolation wells
for rain water disposal at Science city, Ahmedabad. Agencies having adequate experience of similar
type work will only be considered.
Terms &Conditions: -
1) The rates quoted shall include all taxes, levies, transportation and delivery at site.
2) The agency at his own cost shall replace any rejected material.
3) The rates quoted shall be valid for at least 12 months from the work order issued date of tender.
4) Order may not be placed for all items.
5) Order for part quantity shall be acceptable.
6) The complete work shall be done as directed by engineer in charge to the satisfaction of site
requirement.
7) The water & electricity if required for the current work shall be provided by GCSC at one location
only. Necessary arrangement for DG set may be done by contractor for the work, if the electricity is
not available at site of work. Contractor shall make his own arrangement to carry the same at
required site location, under strict supervision and prior permission of GCSC.
8) Successful bidder shall submit security deposit @ 5% of contract value in the form of BG, and it will
be retained for the period up to 12 months after completion of the work. Agency shall carry out defect
found in the work during the warranty period at his own cost.
9) Bids shall be accompanied by two separate Demand Drafts of tender fee and EMD. Bids shall be
filled in through above mentioned web site in online format, only.
10) Tender fee & EMD shall be submitted along with supporting documents for period from 22-05-2023
to 12-06-2023. 18.00 hrs. Through Speed Post/ courier/ Hand delivery.
11) If tender fee & EMD is not received till 12-06-2023. 18.00 hrs., bid shall be rejected.
12) Only the agencies that have executed this type of work having experience of such work and
examined the site shall fill in the bids.
13) EMD of unsuccessful bidders shall be refunded without interest after approval of the tender of the
work.
14) The work completion period is 30 days from the date of issue of work order / as mentioned in the
work order.
15) Tenders (technical bid) shall be opened on 13.06.2023 at the office of GCSC, if possible. Financial
bids of only those bidders shall be opened who are technically qualified.

specified in the memorandum hereinafter set out and having visited and examined the site of the works
specified in the said memorandum and having acquired the requisite information relating thereto as affecting

in the attached Schedule of Quantities and in accordance in all respects with the specifications, design,
drawings and instructions in writing referred to in conditions of tender, the Articles of Agreement, Special
Conditions, Schedule of Quantities and Conditions of Contract and with such materials as are provided for
by, and in all other respects in accordance with such conditions so far as they may be applicable.

PREQUALIFICATION CRITERIA
1. The Bidder should be registered firm.
2. Bidder must have and submit minimum three years’ experience (with completion certificate) of similar
works (eg. Form 3A) with work order.
3. Bidder shall attach GST Number & its certificate for the works.
4. Bidders have to produce PAN Number & its certificate.
5. Bidders shall have to submit Solvency Certificate of Rs 5.0 lakhs from Nationalize |
