Description - The University is looking to procure a plot-scale trials Combine Harvester which will be used by our School of Agricultural, Policy and Development, as part of research into crops. Our research focuses on combinable crops, from evaluation of differen t varieties and cultivars to investigating novel agronomic approaches for UK crops, improving their yields and resilience to changing climates.Due to the research requirements, the Combine Harvester must have the functionality to calculate the harvest index for the combined crops, by accurately measuring the weight of both straw and chaff.
