Description - Description: The provision of dedicated training facilities and equipment is a critical enabler for personnel to maintain their fitness. It is the intention of the Irish Defence Forces to provide state of the art fitness and training facilities at se veral key locations. Through the Infrastructure Development Plan new gymnasia have been constructed in Stephens Barracks, Kilkenny and Sarsfields Barracks, Limerick. Further projects are planned for the construction of new gymnasia in Gormanston, Haulbowline, Renmore and Baldonnel.
