Windseeg, the Federal Office for Sea shipping and hydrography (BSH) examines the areas shown in the area development plan for tender by the Federal Network Agency (BNetzA) and development with wind energy systems. The sea environment, building ground, wind and oceanographic conditions, as well as the traffic suitability of the area are examined and reports are created. The BSH checks the suitability of the area, among other things, on the basis of the information from these examinations.
