Description - The Province utilizes Contingent Resources as a critical element of its workload management strategy primarily to handle the variable portion of project workload and to meet temporary requirements. “Contingent Resource” refers to temporary non-em ployment contracts by which a resource (a person, contractor or service provider) acts as an independent contractor and makes a commitment to the Province to carry out material or intellectual work or to provide a service for a price or fee.
