Description - Description: De Watergroep is responsible for the drinking water supply in the Southwest Limburg region (Sint-Truiden region) and the Landen-Zoutleeuw region. Both regions are currently 100% dependent on local groundwater extraction for drinking wate r supply. That is why we are actively looking for ways to further upgrade the effluent from existing household water treatment plants (managed by Aquafin) or from industrial wastewater treatment plants into drinking water through extensive drinking water treatment.
